I just finished my goals for 2020, one thing is sad, I did not complete most of my 2019 goals.
Another interesting note, if you include my lazyplayer blog, I have been blogging for a decade and this blog itself will pass a decade of service midway through next year.
So maybe tomorrow, I will to a reflections of a decade.
Although I have not met my goals for 2020 posted on this blog, I have accomplished a lot.
- First was fully embracing CentOS 7 at home and at work. Lead to a much more smooth Linux experience.
- Second was the completion of PT, felt great
- Third was our trip to the Hawaii, wife and I went alone and had a grand ole time.
- Fourth right after our trip came a huge snow storm. Was snowed in for a while.
- Really got into USB builds with CentOS
- Got injured biking, this one had lasting impact.
- Moved firewalls to pfSense
- Participated in son’s bike club, culminating in a San Juans camping trip
- Did a presentation on SDR at Linuxfest
- Got a nice new Dell T410 ESXi host
- Went physical on my primary domain controller
- The highlight of the year was a trip to the Philippines.
- Office and server room actually workable
- Saw daughters run in Cross country together, one of them made it to state again.
- Minivan accident, again, seems to be an annual occurrence
- Got a cat, ranks third in highlights
- Got a new stove
- Started the LBE Sentry project
- Second highlight of 2019, got a new vehicle.
- Started learning Python
This was a more eventful year than others, certainly I will remember a lot of it. Also as noted this ends the decade as well, when I started this blog.
2020 will not by light either, oldest graduates from college, twins graduate from high school, youngest enters high school.
After dinner I weighed in at 297.8 but prior
Weight: 295.0
