So there was a planned power outage in my home today where the went from an older meter
To a newer digital one
Even though this was a planned power outage, the startup procedures for my network was incorrect.
Some things did not start up as well. I usually use nagios as a checklist to make sure things have started up properly. But it was incorrect.
Finally, the new meter seemed to be emitting a signal or light that triggers to motion sensor, so I had to re position it.
Got a new toy called a Rocket Book, really nifty concept of easily moving written notes in a special notebook to the cloud.
