After nearly 15 years (maybe over 15 years) with this DSL line, I think it is time to retire it. At least the static IPs.
After just a day with playing on AWS I would say price and reliability are HUGE reasons to leave DSL. Although there will be huge reasons to keep DSL, the business expensive part of it can go.
In a few days I will spin up a 3 year reserved nano instance on AWS and it will do a lot of what I needed the static IP addresses for.
