Getting Rid of Cable

Been looking at my cable lately.  The more and more I look at it, the more I think its too much.

Time to look at alternatives.

Anyway,  I think with a combinations of Over The Air, Internet, Redbox, and Netflix, I think we can make this happen.

Simple training today.  Pushups and Situps.

We just cancelled our cable and only have the really basic ones because oceanic keeps on raising their rates!…figure that if we couldn’t handle we would sign up for netflix and that is still cheaper to pay then to pay oceanic. Btw, amy requested your friendship on fb. =)

I got dinged for them coming out to fix a problem. I had enough as well. Are you watching stuff over the air? Its free. We are doing that and doing Hulu and maybe Netflix.

Yeah, they were going to charge me for coming down to cap the line so we don’t get cable! Lucky, thing they were late so they couldn’t charge me. =) I watch some shows online and I borrow dvds from my brother. So far, we don’t feel like we are missing out on anything without cable…

Oh it’s like my parents and my brother both don’t purchase cable not even the basic ones (like the one that I am paying…$15 a month for). They have these antenna on their tv…but they cant catch every channel. My parents place can’t catch the channel 7 and channel 8 station. My brother’s place can but i think some other channel he can’t get….but they don’t mind it since it’s free. =)

If you use a bigger antenna you can get some good signals. Those antennas cost about $80. There some sources online that tell you what kind of antenna to get.
