I mentioned that I have been feeling some pain in my hip the past few weeks and it has not only affected my workout, but my lifestyle in general.
Life started to get difficult and I was in pain doing something simple like getting out of my car.
My personal trainer Brenda had me do an stretch with a foam roller on Friday and it seamed to help.
This weekend recall that I ran 2 miles and walked 5, I think I could have run more if I was not hurting. I also passed on a hiking trip Sunday because the pain was starting to get up there. I even dropped to a near zero workout Sunday, and a half workout Monday.
But today, I attempted to meet my endurance mark for waypoint 1 which is 4.5 miles in an hour… I healed enough that I could do it, but knew I was going to pay a price after my workout.
I did make it running 4.8 miles in an hour, but I was starting to feel the pain with the adrenaline masking the pain. So before the adrenaline subsided, I did those IT band stretches.
Lo and behold, I felt much better, I was scared to get out of my car but there was little pain. I did order my foam roller and it should be here by end of week. It will certainly be incorporated into my workout.
Once again I made the endurance portion of waypoint 1, the last thing is weight. I need three consecutive days at or under 280, today’s weight
Weight: 280.8
