I been working on my main sever for several days now. One of the things I am looking at this time around is the power supply.
I went to Frys yesterday and got what I thought was a 500Watt power supply. I looked on line it Coolmaster was supposed to be an OK brand on the lower end.
Other than the 500W you see in big letters, it does not say how many Watts this power supply has.

Its up to the user to calculate the Wattage.
When you finally open up the box and look at the device.
And zoom in and look at the specs on the power supply itself
It says 350 Watts, which would not work with my Rig.
Deceptive, but not lying, still returned it and got an Antec EarthGreen 650 which was nearly double but has a good reputation.
Anyway just did some pushups and situps and calling it good, Seahawks won today and feeling good.
