Wow, talk about a burst of energy, this week is evaluation week, to see where I am at with my training.
Seems like I am well ahead of where I thought I was in benching, not so much in cardio.
I hit the elliptical first and was able to burn a measly 265 calories. The intent was to go to the treadmill and try to squeeze out another 240 calories to bring my burn count to 500 calories.
That didn’t happen because I started to cramp. My legs would not go. I guess I am not in good shape.
So I decided to go anaerobic and hit the bench.
I did a 45lb plate on each site with no problem, I knew that would be OK, but I think the No Xplode kicked in, and suddenly I wanted to bench more, I pushed it to two plates, that’s 225lbs, just 1 rep, but I felt good about it.
Next week is the actual start of training, where I weigh in every morning. I give myself 10 weeks, that brings me to Dec 1, to lose 20lbs. In the way is Halloween and Thanksgiving. We’ll see how it goes.
