I spoke to me niece today and she told me she was really nervous.
Then I told her my first full marathon way back in my early twenties, I recall an hour or a bit before the run, bending over a tree in Kapiolani Park and blowing junks. So I totally understand.
Doing this mental prep really helps though. Getting your mind in place. I did take the family to the Century Link Stadium to get my packet and check out the Health Expo.
Of course we were greeted with the countdown
It did not ease my nervousness.
Although there were a lot of people, it did not seem crowded when we got there, but the attendees did start filing in and I am glad because when we left it was pretty busy.
Anyway I am ready as I am going to get, looks like it will rain tomorrow, it sure did come down today, so I am not set on what clothes I am going to wear.
Just gonna hit some pushups and situps, dinner, some TV, a bath then sleep.
