Today I tried out a personal trainer for the first time.
Her name is Brenda and she helped my learn some new things.
There were some things that she had me do that were OK (nothing was easy) but there were a few that caught me by surprise. It challenged my balance and muscles I don’t normally use.
I did warm up with a 1 mile run, so that was good, but I am a little tired. The things she is showing me is where to focus my efforts. We’ll see how this goes, I am excited about it.
At least I am done for the day, I can relax for several hours.
Tomorrow is another long run.
