Oh Boy Tough Mile

I need to get back to the 20 mile a week schedule I was hitting last May.

Today I did only one, but it was a tough mile to run. (actually a 1 lap + 1 walk)

I will probably spend the next 3 or 4 weeks trying to get up to my starting 4 mile run.

At that point I should be starting my real training, which means running with others and actually trying to keep a schedule.  But here is my preliminary schedule.

Early Feb, start running outside again.  Try to get used to two a day workouts.

Mid Feb, should be doing my Four Plus, even if I walk part of the way.

Late Feb, start running Lake Washington on Saturdays, at this point should be able to run most of Four Plus.

Early Mar, increase running, should be able to do Lake Wa and some of it on round trip

Mid Mar, be able to run Lake Wa round trip

Late Mar, Workouts should consists of 2500 calories in gym and at least 10 miles during the 7 day week.

Early Apr, should be in shape to do Seahawk 12k

Mid Apr, Week should be full training like last year, 5k Mon, Two-A-Days Tue and Fri, 1000 cal Wed, light workout Thu & Sun, Long Run Sat.

Late Apr, should be able to to Seward Loop plus Lake Wa.

Early May, should be able to Do Lake Wa + I90

Late May, should be able to do Seward Loop, Lake WA, + I90

Early June, speed increase, more hills

Mid June start reducing  workout.

Late June Rock & Roll!!!

That should do it.
