You can run VMs and containers at the same time but you cannot to bridging and macvlan at the same time.
I hope I am wrong.
So to explain a bit, if I want a VM to have its own IP address, I need to create a bridge tied to the ethernet port.
If I wanted a container with its own IP address, I need to create a macvlan tied to the ethernet port.
A solution may be a second ethernet port.
I dunno maybe.
