Today Was about Willpower

Wow, today was a good test of my will, I was tired from an extra long day of work, but I managed to gather the heart to push through over 1100 calories on my treadmill workout.

In 1 hour I ran 5.55 miles. in 1 hour, which makes it 11.1 miles in 2 hours, which means I need to do the final 2 miles in 1/2 an hour to beat last years time.  I need to get up to 5.83MPH in order to beat my original goal of 2 hours 15 minutes.  I still got 3 weeks to build up speed.

This weekend I will try another 14 miles, then I will tone down and do 10.5 or even a 7 the next week and finally a 4+ the weekend before the half marathon.

But the big test was afterwards, during my weight training.  I could have called it quits, and the thought sneaked into my head.  I am glad I pushed through it though, I did all my sets.

I did feel weak though, I think know skipping breakfast is BAD.

Wish I was lighter though.  This is an evening weigh in.
