Legs Hurting From Run

I think I hurt my knee yesterday, I did a LOT of walking, I did crack 15k steps, but this morning me left knee was hurting a lot, my hips too.

I spent most of the day recovering, and watching football.

End of Summer 2024

This was on of those busy, accomplished days

  • Woke up at 8:00 AM and continued rebuilding things like one of the 2023 Domain Controllers
  • At 8:40 left the house and made it to parkrun at 9 which is amazing because a lot of people told me there was heavy traffic.
  • At 9:00 ran the park run and got it at 58:41 which I was happy to come under an hour but more importantly accomplished a goal I set for this year to do a park run before end of summer.
  • At 10:30 I arrived at home and got ready for the rest of the day
  • At 11:20 left house and experienced this traffic everyone was talking about, apparently 405 by Renton was shutdown and was being bypassed through down.
  • At 12:25 we arrived at PLU
  • About 1PM we had a luncheon with the PLU XC team, this was goal #2 of the day.
  • At 2:50 we arrived at the state fair, we were stuck in traffic for about 30 minute, so future self budget for that.
  • We finished off our State fair run and left the area at 5:50PM and battled traffic out of Puyallup and I was super tired by then but got us home.
  • At 6:50PM we arrived home and I took a nap
  • Got up at 9:25 to do some networking stuff, needed to finish off my stairs. It is done at 10 floors and my 10k steps was done much earlier in the day. But I am clocking 14796 as I post, gonna do 204 steps in the house to clear 15k by end of night. Will post if I did not make it.

It was a milestone day due to making my goal. So I am rewarded

Another Problem – Power Outage

What a stressful day at about 3AM the power flickered in my home and a bunch of circuits popped causing my servers to go down.

At about 4AM everything went down. This caused me lost hours of sleep and no CPAP.

Luckily my wife had a morning appointment so I had a bit of rest but I was exhausted.

At about 2PM I checked out the area and saw this

It was not till 8PM when power was restored. This really hurt my schedule. Didn’t get to do a proper reconcile of my finances, and my steps finished late.

This will hurt my run tomorrow.

Success at work, not some much on weight

I was supposed to trend down, but with now swimming, eating bad, and weird sleep, it all adds up to weight gain.

I am keeping up with the 10k steps. Almost there today, I can easily finish it at home. If I can keep it a little down, I can bounce back Sat after parkrun.

Long Hours At Work

Been getting a weird headache at work, I been working for so long.

Got to work at about 9:30AM got home at 10PM, so days have been long.

It is the fast part of my work.

Anyway need a rest. Maybe tomorrow.

Treadmill In Gym

I got most of my steps today on a treadmill at my work gym. Forgot how boring it is.

Hips starting to hurt.

Also work is getting brutal, need some down time.

Work Ramping Up

Work getting harder, for me personally it is peaking. Going to be some long work hours this week.

Seahawks win again

I woke up earlier than I wanted to and headed into the office. Missed the Seahawks kickoff but I did see the win.

49ers lost, so the Seahawks are #1 in NFC West.

I been really tired today, should have slept earlier.

Not Too Bad Habit

I did not revert back too much on my weight, kind of hanging in there.

Days are getting dark which is a bummer, got 1 last day to meet my goal of running parkrun at end of summer.

A Break of Sorts

It is 7:35PM as I post this, I got my 10k steps and 10 floors. Also I have not eaten yet at all today, so I am going to be bad and go to Snoqualmie and have a Buffett and fun.

Pretty sure I am covid clear.

I plan to wake up late tomorrow.
