Some days I just finish late at work. When I am done I head off to the gym and I kind of like working out by myself. I have the entire gym to myself… I have pick of the best equipement, I can blast my music, and I do not have to wait for the different stations I get on to clear.
But the most important thing is the focus I get… I am alone with my thoughts… it feels really good when I can focus and push. I do not do anything dangerous, I do play it safe, but I like the time to myself.
I just got notice that a bunch of relatives signed up for the 1/2 marathon. That made me so happy, so its the extreme opposite. Happy working out by myself, happy to see family join me in this run.
My weight… not so happy. I did have my shake before weigh in so that probably is the weight I see.
